After pondering whether I should do the second season or not, I've decided I will. There has been discouragement from negative comments and some encouragement from others but in the end I want to express myself and improve. It might be awhile, I'm going to take a considerable detour. Firstly I'm going to test my shading techniques by turning at least part of the comic as an animation. If the animation test is successful, I'll switch the second season to animation from the webcomic format.
